COMPANY HISTORY
The farm is at the centre of the area recognised as typical of the Sabina PDO tradition, and this, together with the expert care that goes into in every stage of production, has enabled the family Petrucci to achieve an extra virgin olive oil of exceptional quality, both in terms of composition and of organoleptic properties.

Olive groves: 5000 trees with an average age of more than 100 years, and of the Carboncella, Moraiolo, Raia, Frantoio, Pendolino, Leccino and Olivastrone varieties. Company mill: A Pieralisi M3 system, with a processing capacity of 16 hours daily and 24 tons of olives per day. Bottling: Divided between two different workshops; one for bottling the Sabina PDO oil, with a production rate of 600/800 bottles per hour, and the other mainly used for bottling ginger, lemon, bay leaf and rosemary flavoured oils.

THE TERRITORY
Mainly hilly terrain with sandy soil

Cultural and natural attractions in the area
The farm is located in the land of Cures (ancient capital of the Sabines and native homeland of Titus Tatius and Numa Pompilius). It is close to a small village of about 800 inhabitants, with a historic centre dating back to 1006 and its own little castle. It is worth visiting the 18th-century Church of Santa Maria Assunta, which houses works of art from other churches no longer in existence.
